Universal’s Islands of Adventure
Universal’s Island of Adventure, located in Orlando, Florida, opened in 1999. ‘Vacation Like You Mean,’ the park’s slogan, was introduced in 2013. The park initially had seven islands, but an eighth has been added based on the King Kong theme. This park is known to be one of the company’s most significant investments. The Jurassic Park River, Incredible Hulk Coaster, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, and Skull Island are its most popular attractions.
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom is a theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company. The entire park is dedicated to fairy tales and Disney characters. The park even has a replica of the Cinderella castle from the 1950 film. For the thirteenth year in a row, Magic Kingdom is one of the most visited amusement parks. Space Mountain, Monster Inc’s laugh floor, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and the Jungle Cruise are its most popular attractions.
Efteling
Located in the Netherlands, Efteling is a fantasy-themed amusement park owned by Efteling Nature Park Foundation. The park’s concept is based on ancient myths and legends, fairy tales, fantasy, and folklore elements. The park is one of the oldest amusement parks and is said to be twice the size of Disneyland, California. The park has in total of six rollercoasters along with various amusing spots.
Tokyo DisneySea
The Tokyo DisneySea, which opened in 2001 and is worth 335 billion yen, is the next on the list. The Oriental Land Company owns the park, which spans 176 acres. The park receives nearly fifteen million visitors each year, making it one of the most popular theme parks in the world. The park is divided into seven themed ports, with Mediterranean Harbor serving as the park’s entrance.
Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi
Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, an indoor amusement park, is ranked fifth. Miral Asset Management owns and develops the park. The park’s construction will cost around $1 billion. The entire park is themed after various Warner Bros. franchises such as Looney Tunes, DC Comics, Hanna-Barbera, etc. The park has 29 rides and some fantastic restaurants, attractions, shops, and shows.
Shanghai Disneyland Park
Shanghai Disneyland Park is an excellent part of the Shanghai Disney Resort. The park, which opened in 2016, collaborates with The Walt Disney Company and Shendi. Within a few years, it had risen to become one of the world’s top amusement parks. Mickey Avenue, Gardens of Imagination, Fantasyland, Treasure Cove, Adventure Isle, Tomorrowland, and Toy Story Land is the park’s seven themed areas.
Universal Studios Hollywood
As the name suggests, Universal Studios Hollywood is a film-themed park in Los Angeles County, California. The park was initially designed to provide tours of the whole Universal Studios sets, but it was later transformed into a full-fledged Universal Studios Theme Park. Without a doubt, the park is spectacular and a must-see for all film buffs out there. The park’s main attractions are the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, Silly Swirly, and Super Silly Fun World.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is located in Bay Lake, Florida, as part of the Walt Disney World Resort. This park is inspired by the ideas of Marty Sklar, Randy Bright, and Michael Eisner. The park, which is now a third of four built at Walt Disney World, is themed after the imaginary worlds of film, television, music, and theatre. The park is a total throwback to Hollywood’s Golden Age. The park’s best attractions are the Eiffel Tower, Echo Lake, Toy Story Land, and Hollywood Boulevard.
Disney California Adventure
Disney California Adventure, also known as Disney California Adventure Park, is a theme park dedicated to California’s history and culture. The park is known for celebrating California’s fun and adventure through various Disney, Pixar, and Marvel properties. The park, which opened in 2001, is the second of two theme parks built as part of the Disneyland Resort complex. The park’s main attractions include Buena Vista Street, Pixar Pier, Paradise Gardens Park, Grizzly Peak, and others.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom, located in Florida, is a zoological theme park. It is even the world’s largest theme park, with a total area of 580 acres. As the name implies, the park is entirely dedicated to preserving the natural environment and animal conservation. The park also has the most wooden roller coasters in the United Kingdom. Each of these will undoubtedly provide you with a once-in-a-lifetime experience, with The Big One being the tallest.
Alton Towers
Alton Towers, also known as the Alton Towers Resort, is located in Staffordshire, England, and is owned and operated by the Merlin Entertainments Group. Along with the theme park, the complex includes a water park, spa, mini-golf, and hotel complex. It is the second most visited park in the United Kingdom, with its main attractions including Congo River Rapids, Runaway Mine Train, Nemesis, and Wicker Man. In addition, the park has ten incredible rollercoasters that will blow your mind!
Port Aventura World
Port Aventura World is an entertainment resort in Spain. The park attracts 3.5 million visitors per year, making it one of Spain’s most popular tourist destinations. Furius Baco, ESTACI DEL NORD, Kontiki, and other thrilling rides are available at the resort. The resort even has a spectacular show to ensure that its visitors have an unforgettable experience.
Legoland Park
Legoland Park, also known as Legoland Billund Resort, first opened to the public on June 7, 1968. Over 1.9 million people visited the park in 2011. Legoland is Denmark’s most popular tourist attraction because it is an unforgettable experience, especially for Lego fans. There are numerous notable attractions throughout the park, particularly on the mainland, built with millions of Lego pieces.
